Our New Friend Bentley

We are happy to welcome the newest member of our family. Bentley!

He loves to watch the squirrels and neighborhood cats.

Bentley has almost the same markings as Susie, except he has a brindle coat, not fawn.

Skamania Lodge

We took a couple days during spring break to play in the Columbia River Gorge. First we stopped by Bonneville Dam where they have an underwater viewing area where you can see the fish swimming by. Then on to Skamania Lodge, after we checked in and grabbed a bite to eat we scoped out a killer camp spot for summer. It was a rainy and windy day so we were unable to hike around as much as planned, but still were able to go swimming in the indoor pool and had a great time. What a beautiful place. We decided to go for a drive the next day to Hood River and visited Full Sail brewery. Apparently mom & dad didn't drink enough the night before. From there we went to Mt. Hood. We just drove through since we were not prepared for winter sports. Had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

Here are some photos of Braidens' last Basketball game of the season. He was on a really great team---Unbelievably patient coach. After the game we went to Round Table for pizza. All the players were given trophies and the parents were given a DVD slide show/video, thanks to Darlene, Taylors mom. He had lot's of fun and learned a lot. Mom and Dad had lot's of fun too.

Basketball Practice

We had a great couple of first games. Braiden's defense is really great. He really stays on his man and he scored 6 points at the last game. I will be sure to get some action shots next Saturday at his 3rd game. He's really doing a fantastic job and practicing dribbling on his own.


Look for the #15 Nuggets jersey and the red stripe on his pants if you can't find him.

Ocean Shores Weekend

A little weekend getaway to Ocean Shores Wa. Had lots of fun. We chose to go here because someone had posted a hutch on craigslist that I wanted. So we decided to make a weekend of it. Although it was cold it was great to get away for the day.
